The New P.A.T.H.H.S. (Prevention and Treatment for HIV, Hepatitis and Sexually Transmitted Infections) program provides integrated Medical Care Management Services to those individuals receiving primary care. The PATHHS program is geared towards providing quality care for individuals at risk of acquiring HIV and living with HIV. The program is focused on an individual’s healthcare needs, preferences and expectations. The program upholds dignity and respect, especially for vulnerable populations. Engaging and supporting individuals is critical, so that they can make informed decisions and play an active role in their own healthcare.

What is PREP?
PREP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is medicine that reduces your chances of getting hiv from sex or injection drug use. when taken as prescribed, prep is highly effective for preventing HIV.
What is PEP?
pep (post-exposure
prophylaxis) means taking medicine to prevent hiv after
a possible exposure. pep should be used only in emergency situations and must be started within 72 hours after a recent possible exposure to HIV.
